Keep It Simple

“How then can I do this great wickedness and sin against God?” (Genesis 39:9)

Reader, much ink could be spilled over this passage, but there is a beauty in simplicity. Let me simply ask a few questions. Do you believe in God? Do you believe in that Almighty God who does all things, knows all things, sees all things? Do you know this God who created the heavens and the earth, preserving and governing it by His mighty hand? Do you know this God who redeems sinners by the precious blood of His Son? Do you live like it? Have you ever once stared at temptation and said with Joseph, “How then can I do this great wickedness and sin against God?”

Let’s not make this complicated. If we began to ask the same question as Joseph, sin would decrease and the glory of God would increase exponentially.
